Newest meteors
global_meteor_network.latest_meteorsThe newest meteor trajectories filmed by the Global Meteor Network: time, shower, brightness, speed, mass and where each started and ended in the sky. Filter by shower code (e.g. ORI, STA) or brightness.
Inputs
| Name | Type | Description |
|---|---|---|
limit | integer | default: 10; range: 1 to 25 |
shower | string | IAU 3-letter shower code, e.g. ORI, STA, GEM |
brighter_than_mag | number | Only meteors with peak absolute magnitude at or below this (lower is brighter), e.g. -2 |
