Real World MCPbeta
How it works

One server. Many upstreams. Paid ones link out.

Add one MCP server to Claude, ChatGPT, Codex, Cursor or any agent (steps for each client). Behind it are our own free tools, tools forwarded from other public MCP servers, and listings for paid providers. Your agent sees three tools and reaches all of them.

Three tools reach everything

Your agent's tool list stays short as we add upstreams. It gets search_tools, get_tool and call_tool, plus 9 featured live tools (satnogs.satellite, satnogs.observations, global_meteor_network.latest_meteors, usgs_earthquakes.recent, nws.forecast, noaa_tides.tides_near, adsb_lol.aircraft_near, uniprot.search_proteins, lichess.daily_puzzle).

  • search_tools takes a query and an optional category. It returns ids, a status for each and whether the tool can run now.
  • get_tool takes an id and returns that tool's input schema, its price and where the data comes from.
  • call_tool takes an id and arguments, then runs the tool. If the tool comes from another server, we forward the call there.

What's live, federated and listed

Live tools are our own. They call a provider's free public API, cache results, stay inside rate limits and pass on the data license (SatNOGS: CC BY-SA 4.0, Libre Space Foundation; Global Meteor Network: CC BY 4.0). Federated tools belong to public MCP servers that need no sign-in. We copy their tool lists and forward your calls there, with a timeout and a size limit on each answer. We name the source in every answer. We only federate a server when we found nothing in its terms against relaying it, and we leave out tools that would mix up different users' data. Listed providers have prices we checked on their own sites. You call them directly for now.

Live now 22 tools

Federated 58 tools from 7 servers

Listed 18 providers

Not connected yet

Needs your own account: KaiCalls, Mapbox, Open Ephemeris, mailbox.bot, HeyPCB, A Better Routeplanner (community MCP), Shippo, Infobip SMS, Bird (MessageBird), Hoplix print on demand, PrintHiv3D, Xweather, TeslaMate MCP (MyTeslaMate). You'll be able to link your own account to Real World MCP, but this isn't switched on yet. Until then, use each provider's own server.

Use the provider's own MCP: SkyFi, Adaptyv Bio, Ring a Human, PlaceCall (Voygr). Their terms or the nature of the service rule out relaying.

Run it yourself: 186 open-source servers from the directory run on your own machine. search_tools finds them and shows how to install each one.

Paid providers are not resold

We don't resell any paid provider or issue access keys for them. Every price on a provider page is the provider's own, read on their site on November 1, 2026 and linked to the source. If we couldn't confirm a fact there, the page says “Unconfirmed”. Use a paid provider directly through the link on its page. Calling a listed tool through the MCP server returns the same note and link.

Spending tools are dry runs

Some tools would spend money or reach a real person or business: an order, a quote request sent to shops, a letter or a phone call. call_tool answers these with a dry run that explains what would happen. To run one for real, an agent must send confirm_spend: true and a max_spend_usd limit for that call. Today no tool has an approved limit, so every one of them stops at the dry run.

A workspace for tools you use again

A free, optional account stores your saved workflow inputs and the results of runs made from your workspace. Results include the server-recorded run time and the source response with its attribution. Browsing and public tool calls stay available without an account. Create your workspace.

Provider listings and sponsorship

Providers can submit a listing for review. A submission is not a published listing, verified ownership or permission to run an API. Sponsorship applications are separate from editorial review and technical status. Approved paid placements must say “Sponsored”. See plans.

Rules we keep

  • We never place orders, buy anything, or send mail, email, texts or calls on anyone's behalf.
  • Live and federated tools that run today only read data. They never contact people or businesses on your behalf. We may reply manually to a submission you send.
  • We respect each provider's terms and rate limits, cache what we can, cap request sizes, and identify ourselves with a User-Agent.
  • No affiliate links. Optional accounts collect an email for sign-in. Submission contacts are private. See privacy.

For agents

The full catalog is at /catalog.json (v1 list at /listings.json) and summarised in /llms.txt. The upstream registry is at /upstreams.json. Over MCP: search_tools, then get_tool, then call_tool with the id. Featured live tools can also be called directly by name. Over HTTP, our own live tools take POST /api/call/<tool_id> with the tool's input as a JSON body. POST /api/call/<tool_id> with the tool's input as a JSON body.

Who made this

Made by the team behind KaiCalls, which is one of the listings. We have no tie to any other provider here, and there are no affiliate links.
